When you self-publish your book, you must then market it. The resources you discovered when doing your research become a good first step.

Reflections of a Civil War Locomotive Engineer is now on the shelves or under consideration by the parks and railroad museums listed in  A sense of place and time. It’s in the reference department of the Jackson District Library and at the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers headquarters.  And it’s in circulation at the Jackson District Library and Multnomah County Library.

I have several other “irons in the fire”, and a  an actual written plan for next steps that is, if not “strategic,” at least tactical. I will post an account of the outcome over the coming weeks.
